On Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 healthcare professionals and the general public will have a chance to learn about recovery from eating disorders. Speakers will address recovery from both overeating and under-eating (bulimia / anorexia). The open house will be at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital from noon until 3 pm. Local members of Overeaters Anonymous (OA) will be available to answer questions.

The open house will feature speakers who have recovered from eating disorders, information and Q&A sessions. OA is a non-profit, 12-step program that has shown great results in helping people with compulsive eating disorders. There is no cost for the event.
