The OA HOW Meeting on New Year’s Eve has also been canceled, but there is a meeting earlier in the day at Kathy S’s house, and all OA members are welcome to attend. Please call for details 737-417-0679. There will be an abstinent lunch at Bell’s Diner afterward, 2167 W. Stadium Blvd in Ann Arbor.

The 12/25 and 1/1 Friday 5:30pm meeting space at St. Joe Administration Services Building is available and open if you need a meeting. Join us! Find parking lot “P” from Elliot Drive. Go upstairs to the education classrooms and look for classroom 4.
The best way to make sure there is a meeting is to use the Tool of the Telephone and ask other members to join you!

December 12th is Twelfth-Step-Within Day. This day is celebrated
each year on December 12th to encourage OA service boards, meetings
and individual members to reach out to those within the Fellowship
who are still suffering from compulsive eating behavior. (as quoted
from OA World Service website). We do not have a special event to
celebrate this event but instead it is suggested that each member
make a phone call to someone they haven’t seen at meetings lately,
and let that person know we miss seeing them. That person may or may
not be in relapse, but they will still appreciate your call.
